Cozy Game Restoration Patch Notes and Update History
Cozy Game Restoration patch notes: the full demo patch timeline from June to October 2026, and what the launch build changes on 4 November.
What is this page tracking?
Two things: the demo patch history (June to October 2026) while the game is unreleased, and the full-game patch notes from launch onward. The game unlocks on 4 November 2026 — see release date and unlock time — so treat everything below as pre-launch history.
Full game patch notes
Nothing published yet. The first full-game patch notes will be added here after launch. Nothing is known about post-launch support cadence, so this page will not speculate about a schedule.

Dates come from the developer’s Steam announcements. Small hotfixes that were never posted are not listed.
What changed in the final demo?
The final demo is the closest thing to the launch build, so its changes matter most:
- Autocomplete now kicks in when every layer is at 99% or higher, replacing an average-based rule that fired too early; it can be toggled in Accessibility.
- UV torch leaves a glowing trail on dirt so missed patches are visible after you switch tools.
- Booklet menus replaced the old menu style across the whole interface.
- Shelf unlocks are visible before you commit to them.
- Languages expanded to the full Tier 1 list plus several others, with the store now listing 18.
- Starting cash was raised because players could not afford both slot unlocks and parcels.
What does “upgrades locked at $9,999” mean?
It is a demo-only guard. Upgrades are priced out of reach so demo money goes into parcels, where the content is. At launch the economy opens up and upgrades are purchasable — if you see a $9,999 upgrade in the full game, that is a bug, not a feature.
Where do patch notes come from?
The developer’s Steam announcements for app 3581230. When a patch ships, this table gets a new row rather than a rewrite, so you can see what changed and when. For what those changes mean in play, see the beginner guide and cleaning tools.
